All-Ukrainian competition of children's pictures
As one of the workforms that favours the formation of high tax culture among population, there was for the second time announced regional children's pictures competition "Taxes with children's eyes" after the recommendation of the State tax administration of Ukraine. Regional and town State tax inspections having held the competitions decided on and awarded the winners, and then sent their pictures to the regional (further - STA of Ukraine), for pointing out the winners on the regional and all-Ukrainian level.
Children from Volodymerets, Zdolbuniv, Goshcha, Kostopil, Sarny, Dubno, Rivne, Mlyniv and Demydiv regions together with towns Rivne and Kuznetsovsk took active part in the competition. Overall, approximately 250 pictures were brought to the competition on the regional level.
According to the regional STA head's order, there was created a commission for singling out the best children's works on the tax theme. The commission included representatives of art school, which is located at the Palace of children and youth in Rivne. The main criteria for assessment of works were the degree of covering tax theme, level of maintaining technique and material, creativity (absence of copies, withdrawing of ideas etc), neat look.
Among the winners in the first age category (5-9 years old) are Khrystyna Stelmah from Kuznetsovsk - the 1st place (she is an attendant of nursery school # 11 (senior group) that trains after outpacing system. Khrystyna started to read in 3 years; she is the member of the group "Fabryka pana farbyka". The girl likes to paint); Iryna Shevchenko, 8 years old - the 2nd place (she is a pupil of Mala Lyubasha school, Kostopil region, studies excellently. Iryna likes to read fiction, takes an active part in school competitions and is fond of painting); Nazar Kovalchuk, 9 years - the 3rd place (the boy studies at school # 4 of Zdolbuniv, is responsible, demanding to himself and others, likes to read. Art and mathematics are his favoutite subjects).
The winners in the second age category (10-13 years old) are: Taras Shevchenko, 11 years old - the 1st place (he is a pupil of Mala Lyubasha school, Kostopil region, studies very well, is intelligent, takes an active part in school and regional competitions, is fond of chess and painting); Artem Volodymyrets, 12 years old - the 2nd place (the boy is a pupil of art school in Mlyniv. He studies well, likes to paint, draw, often takes part in regional competitions of children's pictures. Except painting, Artem is fond of sculpting, modeling and electronics); Volodymyr Dulyanytskyy, 12 years old - the 3rd place (he studies at Volodymyrets college, has deep knowledge in all subjects. Volodymyr is the first pupil of the educational establishment and receives of its scholarship. The boy successfully takes part in various competitions (biology, mathematics etc), he has the Gratitude of the Ukrainian President, the diploma of Ministry of education and the League of Ukrainian sponsors for the victory in the second International competition in the Ukrainian language after Petro Yatsyk).
In the third age category (14-17 years old), the winners became: Volodymyr Demchuk, 14 years - the 1st place (he is a pupil of the boarding school, Ostroh, is gifted, and studies very well. Volodymyr is the laureate of the regional art festival among schools and boarding schools "Believe in yourself" ("Povir u sebe"). The boy is fond of painting, often takes part in school and regional art competitions); Yuriy Savitskyy, 14 years old - the 2nd place (he studies at school # 28 in Rivne, is a gifted, serious and disciplined pupil, is skilled at humanitarian subjects. He was one of the best members of art group, gained victory in town's and regional competitions "Taxes with children's eyes"); Olga Boyar, 14 years old- the 3rd place (The girl is a pupil of Gorodok school, Rivne region. From childhood she has hearing problems, studies well. Olga received an award in the regional competition of children's picture "Youth against AIDS", participated in the regional competition "World with children's eyes" and school contest "Black Chornobyl").
Taking into account the positive impact of the competition of 2001 on the formation of high tax culture among population, the STA in the region founded the new nomination in the tax theme among the regional boarding schools for disabled children. Taking into consideration the peculiarities of these educational establishments, there were awarded separately from regional boarding schools: Igor Smilyy - the 1st place, 11 years, pupil of the Ostroh boarding school for disabled children; Oksana Petrochenko - the 2nd place, 14 years, pupil of Tuchyn boarding school, Goshcha region; Natalia Babienko - the 3rd place, 15 years, pupil of Mizoch boarding school, Zdolbuniv region.
The awarding of winners with the diplomas and valuable presents held head of STA in the region Sergiy Dzhygalov. Active competitors of the competition were granted with gratitudes and prizes. All winners and active competitors - in general 42 children aged from 6 to 18 years - except presents (play-recorders, photo-cameras, players, radios, radio-scanners etc) got packages with sweets from hands of regional STA's head. Representative of the newspaper "All about Accounting" Ganna Pysarchuk granted to the smallest children - future artists - books and the magazine "Piznaiko". When the ceremony was over all the present with great pleasure applauded the attendants of the Rivne Palace of children and youth that gave the concert on the case.
The sponsors of the contest became Rivne firm "Foxtrot", the plant of foodstuffs in Kostopil, subdivision of all-Ukrainian charity fund "Professional" and editorial staff of the magazine "Visnyk podatkovoi sluzhby Ukrainy", Advisory board trade group of STA workers.
The ceremony of announcing and awarding the winners took place in the big hall of regional STA where mass media representatives were present. This event was announced by mass media on the same day - 24.05.2002 and repeated the next one, newspapers enlighted the case in their later editions. In the analogous place (big hall and corridor of STA in region), there was arranged an exhibition of all pictures brought to the competition which could be viewed by children and their parents. The exhibition ranged until June 7 2002.
